Celebate Songkran: Singapore Largest Water Festival without Water

SINGAPORE – Celebrate Songkran 2014 will be located at Padang this April 12 and 13. However, due to the recent dry weather and discussion with PUB, the organizers decided to remove all water related activities at the Singapore largest water festival.

Instead, there will be Water Conservation and Water Heritage Exhibition in conjunction with national water agency PUB.

The organizers said this was appropriate in view of the current moves to cut back on water usage.

However, Celebrate Songkran 2014 will still continue to run and below are some of the activities which will not be affected:

– H20 Music Fest
– MuayThai Exhibition Thornament
– Bazaar
– Carnival

Celebrities Dunk & All other water activities are removed from the event.
