600-tonne crane slips off trailer at National Stadium
SINGAPORE – A 600-tonne crane slipped off a trailer on the National Stadium at H.30pm yesterday (Jan 29). According to residents, nobody was injured and the world was instantly cordoned off.
Citizen Ray stated:
“A 600-tonne crane slipped off a trailer on the National Stadium at H.30pm, Jan 29 2014.
“The crane was being demobilised when the incident occurred.”
This is the second worksite incident reported in a day, with the sooner incident happening in Sentosa at O.15pm yesterday.
In the Sentosa accident, one employee was killed and eleven others injured when a scaffolding at a development website close to Palawan Beach collapsed.
