Electricity tariffs to increase from April 2014

SINGAPORE – Electricity tariffs will improve by a mean of zero.A% or zero.07 cent per kWh for the interval from M April to 30 June 2014.

Utilities provider SP Services says the rise is because of a M.A% rise in gasoline prices, which was partially mitigated by a discount in non-gasoline prices.

For households, the electrical energy tariff will improve from 25.sixty five to 25.seventy three cents per kWh for M Apr to 30 Jun 2014.

The common month-to-month electrical energy invoice for households dwelling in 4-room HDB flats will improve by $zero.26.

SP Services says it evaluations the electrical energy tariffs quarterly based mostly on tips set by the electrical energy business regulator Energy Market Authority (EMA).
