Missing MAS flight: Plane suffered broken wing tip but cleared to fly
KUALA LUMPUR – The Boeing 777-200ER of MAS that disappeared over the South China Sea on Saturday with 239 individuals onboard suffered a damaged wing tip that was absolutely repaired and cleared to fly.
