Sinkhole suck in a lorry at Upper Changi Road East

SINGAPORE – A small part of street on Upper Changi East collapsed throughout peak hour morning visitors on Thursday.

A sinkhole appeared on the center lane of the street close to Jalan Demak and appeared to be as extensive as one of many street’s three lanes.

Photos from readers confirmed a development car tipped-over and caught within the sinkhole.

A reader on Twitter posted: “The street caved in underneath the sheer weight of the lorry.”

It just isn’t instantly recognized what brought about the sinkhole. More particulars to return.
