Human flesh served at a vegetarian restaurant after owner killed customer and hid it in noodles
Diners at a vegetarian restuarant in Lat Krabang, Bangkok, were shocked to find chunks of meat in their supposedly veggie meals.
Horrified to find meat in their supposedly vegetarian meal, they reported to the authorities and it led to gruesome discoveries. A study of the meat was done, and it was found that it was neither pork nor beef but in fact human flesh.
An investigation of the premises then found a kitchen area where the walls and floor were spattered in blood and there were chunks of flesh on the ground.
Police then found the rotting corpse of a 61-year-old man in the restaurant’s septic tank.
The owner of the restaurant fled his business before the cops arrived and is still reportedly on the run.
The disfigured body was later identified as that of a regular patron of the restaurant. Prasit Inpathom was allegedly last seen having drinks at the restaurant on October 21 by his brother. He allegedly had a verbal argument with the restaurant owner.
According to the reports, the argument escalated into a physical fight. The 61-year-old died after being smashed on the head with a blunt object and being stabbed six times in the stomach and legs, reports claim.
Local police believes that the owner was trying to get rid of Prasit’s corpse by grinding it up and serving in meals to customers.
It is unknown whether any customers consumed the human flesh.
