A 16-year-old teenager was hit by a red Suzuki while crossing Ubi Road on Monday (Mar 16).

The girl, who was wearing school uniform, was seen looking out for cars on the left-hand side before dashing across the road. That was when a car came from the right and knocked her off violently.

Passers-by came to her aid and carried her to the pavement. She is currently recovering from her injury.

Police investigations are ongoing.
